Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner or educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young learners. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and ensuring their safety and happiness.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children in the nursery setting. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are included and actively participating. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children to learn and play. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Drive initiatives that promote social skills, emotional intelligence, and cognitive development among children.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children and families. A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
