We have an exciting career opportunity at our nursery in Burnham-On-Sea. We are looking for a part time Early Years Practitioner to work in our beautiful Baby & Toddler Suite. (We would also consider a job share for the right candidates).
The position is to start as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is playful, enthusiastic and passionate to join our lovely team. We strive for a team of like-minded individuals who understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment for our children and families.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
HOLIDAYS - Nursery is open 51 weeks per year, closing 1 week at Christmas, so you will be guaranteed this week off, as well as bank holidays and free days to book with remaining entitlement. You will also receive your birthday off each year.

Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the early years
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's progress and development
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and lesson plans
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns or updates
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Looking for someone who is level 3 qualified in early years.
