Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their development
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 3 in childcare.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child and provide appropriate support and guidance
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check

- Creativity in designing engaging and educational activities
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent observation skills to monitor children's behaviour and progress
