We are extending our team at Dockside Day Nursery & Pre-School.

We are recruiting for an experienced Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

The setting operates between the hours of 07:30- 18:30 Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year.

We are seeking for an outgoing, socialable, fun, caring and compassionate nursery practitioners with experience with children ages 0-5 years.

This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young learners.

Responsibilities:



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and secure environment. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a welcoming atmosphere for children and families. Drive initiatives that promote children's well-being, safety, and happiness within the nursery setting. Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.

Qualifications



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children and parents. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering an inclusive environment for all children. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
