Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and hygiene practices.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Monitor and record children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or meals as needed, ensuring food safety protocols are followed.
Support inclusive practices that respect diverse backgrounds and individual needs.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Skills
Good understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to manage time efficiently to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Experience or familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation is advantageous.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to early years settings.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy.
Prior experience working in childcare settings or with young children is preferred; enthusiasm for working with children is essential.
