, we offer a nurturing, play-based environment for children aged 0-5 with SEND. Our work centres around supporting each child's development and helping them thrive--while also empowering families through information, training, and collaborative working with mainstream settings to champion inclusive early years education.
About Dingley's Promise
Since 1983, Dingley's Promise has been transforming the early years experience for children with SEND. We now operate five specialist centres across the UK. Our Christchurch centre runs term-time sessions from 9:15am to 2:45pm, with staff hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Team members also have the opportunity to work up to nine playscheme days during school holidays.
The Role: Early Years Practitioner
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll report to the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager and play a vital role in the daily operation of our setting. You'll deliver high-quality, inclusive education and care--making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive, trusting relationships with families, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and supported.
Act as a nurturing Key Person for a small group of children--using observation, planning, and assessment to meet their individual needs.
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals to support each child holistically.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who are:
Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare
Experienced or interested in working with children with SEND (experience is desirable, but not essential--full training provided)
Warm, patient, and passionate about inclusive early years practice
