- Level 2/3 & above - Child care qualification - Essential (or working towards)
- Paediatric First Aid - Essential or to be completed asap, paid by us

Details

40 to 42 Hours (flexible for the right candidate),
full time contract to start asap, preferably mid November, but flexible if needed.
- Working with children aged 0-2 / 2-4yrs
- Carrying out observations and assessments in line with EYFS
- Actively contributing to the requirements of the early years foundation stage and Ofsted welfare requirements, through planning for children's individual observing and reviewing/ reflecting on children's progress, using the EYFS. Autonomy to plan activities and outings for your key children.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the children's care.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Maintain excellent links with the adjoining school.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A qualification in early childhood education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
