We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children in our nursery setting.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Manage daily classroom routines while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery.
Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of early years education within the setting.
Provide leadership and guidance to support less experienced staff members in their professional development.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in early years education.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively and constructively.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with best practices in early years education.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
A valid driving licence would be advantageous for potential off-site activities or visits.
