Job Summary

Chatburn Pre-School is a friendly, community-based Early Years setting located in the heart of Clitheroe. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop through play, exploration, and high-quality care.

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated L2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding early years education and care for children.

Work with children Teamwork Liaise with parent/carers Assist management when required

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Provide high-quality care and learning experiences tailored to individual children's needs Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff Observe, assess, and record children's development and progress Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Support children with personal care and routines Contribute to planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development Work collaboratively as part of a team and attend staff meetings/training
You will study the Level 2 Early years Apprenticeship at Blackburn College one day a week. All applicants must complete a remote initial assessment for Blackburn College before an interview will take place with the employer. Once successful the candidate will work with the employer 4 days a week, and attend Blackburn College for 1 day a week for training. This is an Apprenticeship which will last for a minimum of 15 months to be completed.
