Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Room Leader experience would be preferable.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Support children's social, emotional, and physical growth through attentive care and guidance Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of childcare and education are upheld Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods Assist with organising educational resources and maintaining a clean, organised classroom environment Support management in implementing policies related to early childhood education standards

Requirements

Experience working with children in nursery or early childhood settings Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and independence Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or materials when required Childcare qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential for entry-level roles A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young children
