Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early years
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's development
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum frameworks and standards for early years education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
