Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. You will be responsible for managing a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of each child. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment. Manage daily routines, including meal times, play activities, and nap times, ensuring all children are cared for appropriately. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Create a safe and inclusive nursery environment that encourages exploration and learning. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills through interaction.

Requirements

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families. Leadership qualities to guide and inspire young learners while managing classroom dynamics effectively. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through creative play-based approaches. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised atmosphere within the nursery setting.
