A vacancy exists for an Early Years Practitioner at Holmes Chapel Community Pre-school, starting as soon as possible.
Applicants should hold a recognised Level III childcare qualification, or equivalent.
Applicants who hold a Level II qualification, but are working towards Level III, may be considered.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with children. Some experience of working with SEN children is preferable, although not essential.
The post is for a minimum of two days a week, term-time only, for 38 weeks in the year.
Hours of work will be between 7.45 am to 6.15 pm Monday to Friday, and you may be required to work a combination of mornings, afternoons and full days.
Flexibility to cover additional sessions may be required.
Occasional extra sessions and inset days will be required for training and planning.
You will work as a part of the Pre-school team, under the direction of the Manager to provide safe, high quality education and care for young children.
Successful applicants will be provided with a uniform. Any statutory training such as Paediatric First Aid training, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene will be provided, costs covered by the preschool.
Holmes Chapel Community Preschool is committed to safeguarding and the successful applicant will be required to complete a full DBS and subscribe to the Update Service, costs covered by the preschool. References will be requested, where possible, prior to interview and any relevant issues arising from these references will be taken up at interview. References and the DBS (and update service subscription) will be required prior to commencement of the position.
