Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Assistance

An opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Practitioner. You will be joining an Ofsted Good nursery setting in South Croydon, near good transport links, Purley Oaks station, South Croydon, in a role which offers support, development and progression opportunities, a starting salary of 12.30 - 15.00 per hour negotiable depending on experience.

Role

Your role will include

: Working as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop. You will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities in accordance with the EYFS, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

Skills and experience:

A level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse qualification such as NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent. A good understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS as a key worker within an early years setting is desirable but not essential. Good organisational skills. Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding & child protection. Develop strong partnerships with colleagues, parents.
