Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the foundational skills of young children in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a commitment to fostering a love for learning while ensuring the well-being of each child.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to food safety standards during meal preparation. Assist with basic food preparation, ensuring nutritious meals are provided in accordance with dietary requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices. Uphold high standards of behaviour management, promoting positive interactions among children. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills in early years education. Setting up and pack away setting on daily bases.

Requirements

Must have relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare. Strong understanding of child development principles and practices. Excellent time management skills to effectively balance multiple responsibilities. Experience in food safety and food preparation is advantageous. Basic maths skills for managing daily tasks related to children's activities. Ability to upsell educational programmes or events when appropriate. Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen setting is beneficial but not essential. A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow in their early years.
