We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator (Level 3 qualified ) to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of babies and young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Support children's emotional, social, and physical growth through attentive care and guidance
Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues
Manage daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times, and play sessions efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of childcare are maintained
Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children's development and behaviour
Assist in organising educational outings and activities outside the nursery setting
Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff or trainees when required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively
Experience with early childhood education principles and practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of childcare legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices
Previous nursery experience is highly desirable
