Beetley Preschool are recruiting - Start 2026 with this exciting new opportunity.

We have a vacancy for an Early Years Practitioner to work part-time, term time only within our team.

We are looking for a kind, caring, enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Practioner to join our team. We are a small team, dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, secure and fun environment for children aged from 2 years to school age. We are a charity-run Preschool, open 38 weeks of the year.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday between 8.30 and 4 for up to 22 children at a time. The committee and staff are committed to providing the best possible care and education to the children and to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. We are also committed to providing a supportive, flexible working environment to all of our staff members. We recognise the importance of supporting our staff to enable them to deliver the best possible care to our children. The role is a minimum of 16 hours across the week, with the opportunity for them to increase. Minimum qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Early Years learning and development, or equivalent. Alternatively, if you are level 2 qualified, with a willingness to train to level 3 then we would like to hear from you. If you are willing to train towards a level 2 or 3 qualification we would also be keen to hear from you.

First Aid and Safeguarding training are desirable but not essential as they will be given.

Successful candidate must be willing to undergo screening and checks with previous employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
