Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our reception team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of children aged 4/5 years within an Islamic environment. Your ability to manage classroom activities, communicate effectively with children and parents, and demonstrate leadership skills will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

Manage daily activities within reception, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children. Promote an Islamic ethos through teaching and learning Communicate effectively with children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play, whilst embedding the schools Islamic ethos within the childrens daily activities. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Drive initiatives that enhance reception class curriculum and overall quality of care. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on best practices in childcare. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education of level 2 and above is necessary. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience managing reception operations or similar environments will be considered a plus.
