Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Early Years Practitioner will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, fostering their growth through play-based learning and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and well-being. Manage daily routines including meal times and playtime efficiently. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of care and education provided. Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience among children. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.

Experience



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in managing groups of children while promoting a positive learning environment is beneficial. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide fellow educators are an asset.
