Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children's development and well-being, working closely with families and team members. Experience in childcare, or nursery settings is essential and candidates will hold SCQF Level 7 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

Support children's daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Work closely with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding children's progress and needs. Recording observations and next steps in learning. Challenging learning and assisting children to meet their full potential. Offer outdoor play and experiences, engaging activities suitable for various age groups. Maintain accurate records of children's development. Take part in team meetings, including planning meetings and in-house training to enhance knowledge.

Requirements

Interest in working with young children age 1-5. Willingness to learn and undertake training. Good communication and time keeping. Reliable, enthusiastic with a caring attitude. Holds SCQF Level 7 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent.

Pay: 27,300.00-27,500.00 per year
