Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote children's learning and development. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in line with organisational policies. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports best practices in childcare. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's development and any concerns. Manage behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Support the organisation of outings and trips, including driving when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting. Minimium Level 3 Required Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment. Strong understanding of childcare regulations, child development principles, and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience with organising activities that stimulate learning through play. Valid driving licence preferred to facilitate outings or transportation needs.
