Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our small team. You will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment, both indoors and out, for youngest children to learn, grow and thrive. This includes supporting children with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children during their crucial Early Years of Development, and offer strategies if required.

Please note this is a term time morning post with a start time of 08.30.



Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum experiences to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore and discover.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration
- Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing individualized strategies within the local CeC Framework.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress (an understanding of Development Milestones is required for this post)
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in accordance with regulatory guidelines both local and National
- Collaborate with other educators to plan and participate in special events, outings, and parent engagement activities

Qualifications:
- SVQ 3 or equivalent Early Learning and Childcare.
- Proven essential experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting which includes children with additional support needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment while promoting positive behaviour management techniques
- Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development, with a love of being outdoors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

We offer 12.60 per hour and pension package.
