Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate , dedicated qualified to min level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Experience is desired, however consideration will be given to newly qualified candidates who can show passion and drive for the early years sector.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow. You will play a crucial role in their early development by implementing age-appropriate activities and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Duties:
- Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years
- Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development
- Provide individualised attention to each child's needs and interests
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and milestones
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum plans and learning goals
- Maintain a clean and organised environment
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 recognised qualification in childcare and early years
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to plan activities and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
- Creativity to develop engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Patience and empathy to meet the individual needs of each child.
