Early Years Practitioner
Job Description
We are recruiting for a full time Early Years Practitioner and require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We will pay a competitive rate of pay depending on experience.
Responsibilities will include ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, stimulating, caring and child-centred learning environment.
The successful individual will have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Minimum HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification and registered with SSSC.
Have experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking learning experiences both indoors and out that support children's learning and development.
Have knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three curriculum
Have knowledge of GIRFEC and Building the Ambition
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm for 50 weeks of the year and shifts will vary within these times.
