We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working or volunteering in an early years setting and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities.
All applicants will need to demonstrate a clear Enhanced DBS check.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected, always demonstrating a commitment to equal opportunities and child protection.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's learning journey.
Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good choices.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and targets.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Requirements
Proven experience working or volunteering with children in a childcare or educational setting.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children and their families.
Leadership qualities that enable you to inspire and guide young learners as well as fellow staff members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
A passion for outdoor learning in all weathers.
A valid driving licence would be advantageous.

Pay: 11.44-13.00 per hour
