Links Nurseries Ltd is a private limited company which runs a well respected group of three nurseries in Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, and East Lothian. We provide flexible high quality childcare and learning for children aged 0 to 5 years. Our employment package includes:

Our nursery in Balmedie is housed in bright, modern purpose-built nursery facilities with ample parking, in the heart of the village of Balmedie, Aberdeenshire. Our playrooms are spacious, welcoming and well equipped. We also have two attractive, large and inviting garden areas to the front and side of the building, as well as a smaller garden area to the front.

We are recruiting for a full time, permanent, qualified Practitioner to join the team at Balmedie. The successful candidate will be hardworking, conscientious, have good communication skills, be motivated, professional and passionate about working with and supporting our children and their families. You will be responsible for creating stimulating learning experiences allowing children to thrive in a caring and nurturing environment. Main responsibilities include planning, evaluating, observing and recording learning experiences for our children, attending to their daily care needs, and supporting and promoting positive professional relationships within the team and with all service users.

Candidates must either hold a practitioner level qualification in childcare or education which is recognized by the SSSC or GTCS or have relevant experience of working in a nursery. A sound knowledge of children's development and a working knowledge of relevant curricula and early years best practice is required.

This position is full time and permanent for 40 hours over four days from 7.30 am until 6 pm Monday to Friday with a floating day off.
