As an Early Years Practitioner, you must have:

Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification Good working knowledge of EYFS Good working knowledge of safeguarding Experience within a nursery setting Paediatric First Aid Trained (desirable but training can be provided) Flexibility to work variable days and hours A desire to maintain CPD via our in house L3+ training courses A clean driving licence and own vehicle would be an advantage as some travel is required in support of other nurseries in the group when needed

What will you be doing?

Delivering a high standard of care and education for children aged 0-5. Work as part of a team to plan and carry out stimulating activities to enhance learning. You will be a key person for a group of children. Communicate and build excellent working relationships with parents to encourage involvement in nursery life. Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children. Support other nurseries in our Yorkshire based group when needed
We are looking for part time practitioners to work 25 or 38 hours per week in term time only and full time practitioners to work 25 or 38 hours per week all year round.

Experience in a childcare setting is essential and applicants should be enthusiastic, passionate, hardworking, well presented and should work well within a team.

Own car and driving licence a distinct advantage.

Rate:

12.25 per hour.
