Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will play a crucial part in their development, helping them to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of early childhood education principles.

Duties



Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, setting clear expectations and boundaries. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all children. Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Experience



A background in early childhood education or childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills to guide and support both children and fellow educators. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their growth and development. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes related to educational outings or activities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.33-12.66 per hour
