Early Years Practitioner
Job Description
We have an upcoming maternity cover opening with a February start and December end date within our nursery and after school care service. Temporary, part time/term time applicant required. You will be focused on delivering high standards of care with an ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative.
We are looking for someone who....
Always puts our children first,
Must be easy going and genuinely enjoy their job,
Not expect the "normal" type of service as we are a unique establishment,
Has their own transport due to our rural location (there is
no
public transport here!),Works hard and is willing to go the extra mile,
Is able to be flexible,
Always find a smile for the children even when if you don't feel like it, (but you will want to anyway!)
Be excellent at encouraging children to be whatever they want to be!
All applicants should hold a minimum of SVQ 3/SCQF Level 7/HNC.
Shift pattern as follows:
Monday 9am-2pm
Tuesday 9am-2pm and 3pm-6pm
Wednesday 9am-2pm
Thursday 9am-2pm
Friday 9am-2pm
Shift pattern flexible for the right candidate.
Job Types: Temporary, part-time, term time contract.
As of April 2025, salary will meet or be above the National Living Wage (depending upon experience).
