Kelvinside Academy is looking for an Experienced Early Years Practitioner - Full Time.

The person appointed will have:

Knowledge and Experience of:

Child development Positive behaviour management Child protection Working with 3-5 year olds as an Early Years Practitioner Curriculum for Excellence Early level Experiences and Outcomes GIRFEC Building the Ambition Realising the Ambition
Skills - be able to:

Work as part of a team Plan, organise and implement activities to enable learning through play Monitor and evaluate children's learning and progress Use own initiative Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Support and implement curriculum developments Demonstrate tolerance, patience and flexibility Show sensitivity to the needs of children and their families Demonstrate effective organisation
The applicant should be fully qualified with minimum SVQ Level 3/HNC in Childcare and Education.

The position is Fulltime (40 hours per week).

The successful applicant will take up post from 6 March 2026.

Salary will be according to qualifications and experience.

Applicants should be registered, or eligible for registration, with the SSSC. They should also be, or eligible to become, a PVG Scheme member.
