Overview

At Little Twinkles Childcare, we pride ourselves in providing a warm, home-from-home environment where children are nurtured and encouraged to grow, explore and develop through play. We are currently expanding and looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in our baby and toddler room (ages 0-2).

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and caring practitioner who genuinely loves working with babies and toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a creative, child-led approach to learning -- especially one who isn't afraid to get stuck into messy play!

Duties

Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children aged 0-2 years Plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS, including sensory and messy play Build strong relationships with children and their families, promoting a positive and inclusive environment Work effectively within a team to support children's development and wellbeing Carry out observations, assessments and maintain accurate records of children's progress Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment at all times Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, carers and colleagues

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) Experience working with babies and toddlers (0-2 years) Passion for child-led learning, messy play and creativity Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A nurturing, patient and playful personality

Desirable

Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Safeguarding Training certification

Hours

25/30 Hours Per Week (Hours can be negotiated for the right candidate)
