We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. This role involves supporting the development and learning of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in fostering a safe, engaging, and educational space for children aged from birth to five years. Previous nursery experience and a strong understanding of early childhood education are essential, along with excellent communication skills in English. A valid driving licence is desirable for certain responsibilities related to outings or home visits. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development across various areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and organised activities ensuring their safety at all times
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in compliance with regulatory standards
Support the organisation of nursery routines and ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and stimulating
Assist with behavioural management strategies to promote positive behaviour and social skills
Contribute to team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance childcare practices
Occasionally organise or participate in outings or community events requiring driving responsibilities
Experience
Prior experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Proven management or leadership experience in a childcare environment is advantageous
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with organising activities that support early learning goals
Valid driving licence preferred for transportation duties or outings
