Job Description

Banana Moon Harbury is a small family run nursery in the village of Harbury, Warwickshire.


We pride ourselves on seeing everything from the parents point of view. We are looking for individual's who have a caring and sensitive nature to cater for the children's needs and help to develop them through play.


You must be happy to go home looking mucky; be able to be a super hero on request; be able to create a dinosaur out of junk have a warm smile that makes every child special and ultimately be prepared to have a lot of fun and laughter. We have stripped back a lot of the paperwork associated with nursery roles and instead focus on supporting children's development gaps through inspired play and their interests.


Requirements




A full and relevant level 2 or above qualification as defined by Children's Workforce Development Council.


At least 12 months experience in a nursery


Be able to get to commute to Harbury


Ideally full time (40 hours over 4 or 5 days) but will consider 30+ hours


Clean DBS


A sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.


Knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS and the inspection processes of regulatory bodies.


Knowledge of Child Protection procedures.


Awareness of purposeful planning, observation and assessment.


Not be afraid to be silly and have fun!
