We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the foundational skills of children in a nursery setting, ensuring they are prepared for their future educational journey.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting learning experiences to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care and education. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and well-being within the nursery.

Skills

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in childcare settings, particularly within nurseries or similar environments. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance learning experiences. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
