Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Supervise and support children during play, learning, and meal times to ensure their safety and well-being.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Foster positive behaviour through effective communication, guidance, and encouragement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop programmes that promote early childhood development.
Build strong relationships with parents or guardians by providing regular updates on their child's progress.
Manage daily administrative tasks related to child records, attendance, and activity planning.
Support the overall management of the nursery or childcare setting by contributing to team meetings and organisational goals.
Put safeguarding at the heart of working with children to keep them safe and free from harm
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
work alongside a motivated and strong team
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Must have a full and valid childcare qualification such as Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent are preferred.
Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a caring attitude towards children.
