We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. This role requires effective communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage a diverse group of children.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children in your care.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Ability to manage behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
