Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's development and learning through play. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to support the holistic development of each child.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for improvement. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A minimum level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
