We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans and developmental assessments.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with the supervision of nursery staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support where necessary.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery's curriculum by suggesting innovative ideas and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all childcare legislation, policies, and procedures.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience with childcare management systems or record keeping is advantageous.
Previous experience with driving is beneficial but not essential; valid driving licence required if applicable.
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about nurturing young minds, possess excellent organisational skills, and are eager to develop their management capabilities within a supportive team environment.
