We are looking for a friendly, dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our highly skilled team! You will be responsible for delivering excellent standards of innovative learning and development for all children within our care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships within an inspirational and stimulating environment, with an emphasis on outdoor play. Fostering warm, supportive relationships with children, parents and carers within a Froebelian approach to create close partnerships and connections. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Duties
Create and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery setting whilst considering the principles and ethos of the Friedrich Froebel approach.
Foster a safe and supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential life skills.
Communicate effectively with children to encourage their connection and enthusiasm within learning to improve outcomes and experiences.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to provide a cohesive learning experience for children.
Maintain accurate observations of children's learning and document accordingly.
To work as part of a team in order to provide a high standard of care and education in which all children can play, learn and develop at their own pace.
Ensure that compliance of Health and Safety regulations and Safeguarding Policies is adhered to at all times.
Experience
A qualification in Social Services, Children and Young People at SCQF Level 7 or HNC is essential for this role.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar educational setting is highly essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Ability and confidence to interact positively with team members, children and their families.
Knowledge and experience within Outdoor practice is an advantage.
