Bee Curious Childcare are an accredited 'Curiosity Approach' setting and follow the Hygge in The Early Years ethos. We are looking for a qualified, experienced, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our leadership team.

Your responsibilities will vary from providing high quality activities for the children in our care, supervising a room of practitioners or managing the setting of three rooms with up to 24 children per day. Working in partnership with the children's parents, your role will entail caring for the children's individual needs and making sure that they are safe at all times.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging children to explore, discover, and express themselves. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. To supervise and support children's play extending their interests ensuring they feel safe and secure at all times Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting. Supporting children's care routines Supporting meal and sleep times

Experience

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. A background in managing or leading a team is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development is crucial.

Qualifications Required

Level 3 or above in Childcare

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable.

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid. (these can be provided for the right candidate).

Weekly Wage

up to 506 gross

Working Week

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with the occasional early start at 7.30am)
