Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and welcoming environment. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Supervise daily activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and volunteers effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or materials as needed. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning experiences.
