About the Role



Contract type:

Full Time, Permanent - 4 days per week (Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day), All Year Round

Dependent on experience

As a Nursery Practitioner at Lucton School, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners, aged 6 months to 4 years. Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will create an engaging environment that promotes exploration, imagination, and joy in learning.

Your main responsibilities will include:



Planning and delivering stimulating activities that promote early learning across all areas of development. Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through interactive play and guided experiences. Creating a warm, inclusive, and safe environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their potential. Building positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure consistent communication and partnership in each child's progress. Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the high standards of care and education that Lucton is known for.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a

Level 3 qualification in childcare

(or equivalent). Has

previous experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting

. Brings

enthusiasm, creativity

, and a genuine passion for turning everyday moments into magical learning opportunities.
You will also be someone who can:

Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and confidence. Foster a

positive, inclusive, and caring environment

that encourages active participation and exploration. Promote the holistic development of every child through purposeful play and learning.
