Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children's development and learning through play. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of children in our care.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children are cared for and supervised at all times. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the nursery setting. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the well-being of the children.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A passion for working with young children and fostering their development through creative play. A valid driving licence would be advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions.
