Hilton Street Childcare is part of the Childcare and Community Centre here in Ashton, Wigan. We provide Childcare and Out of School Care services for children aged 2 months to 11 years old. We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly approach and we care about our staff. Our staff are developed with continuous professional development programmes and our hourly rate of pay is presently minimum wage.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our caring team at Hilton Street Childcare in Ashton. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of children aged from 2 months to 11 years old, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children across different age groups. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes children's development. Support children's social, emotional, and physical growth through attentive care. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies. Contribute to the ongoing development of the childcare program.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passion for supporting children's learning and development. Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications are essential to this role.
