Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of children, supporting their emotional and social growth while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Manage daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and foster a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration. Lead by example, demonstrating effective leadership skills while guiding less experienced staff members. Maintain a clean, organised nursery space that is conducive to learning and play.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children and families. Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere. A proactive approach with the drive to inspire children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Leadership experience within an educational context would be advantageous but not mandatory.
