About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Qualified Early Years Practitoner

to join our friendly childcare team. You will help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 2-5 years, supporting their early learning and overall development.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical development, personal, social and emotional development, and communication and language. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Observe and record children's progress, supporting them through individual developmental milestones. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals. Supervise children during play, meals, and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times. Support the smooth running of daily routines within the nursery setting. Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families. Comply with the statutory framework for the EYFS and relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989 and 2004.

Requirements

Recent experience working in a nursery or early years education setting. A recognised childcare qualification (e.g.,

Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

or equivalent). Experience working with SEND children is desirable. Strong organisational and teamwork skills. Excellent communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri)

Pay from 12.71 per hour, depending on experience. Choice of

term-time only (38 weeks)

or

full-year (49 weeks)
