Job Description

We are looking for x2 level 3 qualified practitioner's to come and join us at our Little Seedlings - Smithdown Road Site.

This position will be a job share x1 staff working 16 hours x1 staff working 24 hours.

The right candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and be able to come into our nursery with ideas to share with the team. They would also be able to engage children within the provision through exciting activities and understand how they can extend their learning by building relationships and working with parents in order for every child to achieve their full potential.

We are asking all applicants to hold a level 3 Childcare qualification to be successful and be willing to extend your knowledge and career in our nursery.

The right candidate will have experience of working in a nursery across all ages from Babies to Pre-School and carrying out the following duties:

plan and prepare stimulating activities set out activities before session and tidy up after the session preparing for the following day teach children through learning and play speak to parents and carers about their children's development make sure children learn in a safe and positive environment monitor children's progress and report any concerns work alongside colleagues and support new practitioners contribute to curriculum planning attend staff meetings and training sessions
Our nursery is open from 8.00am-5.30pm Your hours will be 40 hours per week.
