Full time is 40 hours per week between 7:30am to 6pm

Phoenix Childcare is situated on the beautiful grounds of Gaudet Luce Golf Club. We are very fortunate to have this at our fingertips for walks and outdoor exploration. We have two big outdoor play areas that the children have daily access to, including a small, wooded area.

In return we are looking for an empathetic, reliable and understanding candidate who is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and has a strong passion for developing children's learning, through engaging, well-thought-out activities, in line with the EYFS. Are you a great storyteller and love dressing up? Do you enjoy exploring using your senses and getting messy? Is working with babies your passion? Then you are what we are looking for.

Your role will include making sure children receive high quality care and are kept safe.

You will be responsible for planning activities suitable for under-2's

Recording observations and uploading these on our on line journal for your key children

You will be involved in food preparation, setting up activities in the room/garden and doing handovers with parents.

The ideal candidates will have at least a year's experience, working with children 0-2 years of age. You should be confident in all areas of the EYFS and children's developmental milestones, and preferably hold these extra qualifications or be willing to work towards them once employed:

Paediatric first aid

Safeguarding

Basic food hygiene.
