Job Description

Due to expansion Little Gems Nursery (Part of KYP) are looking for qualified and experienced Level 3 Practitioners to join our Little Gems team.

The role involves working closely with children aged 0-5 years to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will have passion, boundless energy, enthusiasm and a desire to maintain the highest standards in supporting children and ensuring they achieve.

As a L3 Practitioner you will:

Work in partnership with parents, consulting and sharing information with them about the needs and progress of their child.

Maintain daily registers and up-to-date children's development records.

Be responsible for caring for the needs of each child in the Nursery and to ensure that effective provision is made to meet the emotional, physical, educational and social needs of each child in order to meet their full potential.

Assist senior staff to administer, co-ordinate, develop, and manage the provision of Childcare services and to ensure all services are carried out in accordance with the OFSTED standards for day care.

Be responsible for the planning and delivery of an inclusive curriculum ensuring that it meet the needs of all children.

Support the aims and objectives of the Nursery School and to achieve a high standard of education and care for children from birth to five years.

Incorporate in daily activities the areas of learning as appropriate to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and help to prepare the children for primary schools.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 Years working experience in a childcare setting.

Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare Qualification.

Have a good awareness of the EYFS.
