Bracken Place is a family owned nursery that has been operating for 25 years, we are set in 2 acres of woodland ground and benefit from 5 different gardens for our children to enjoy. The nursery (3 months to 3 years) is located in a beautiful spacious house offering all units a minimum of 4 rooms to rotate play between sensory, role play, messy and free flow access to the outdoors. Our Pre School is a new purpose built, open plan setting with direct access to the pre school garden. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Practitioners to join our team. We are looking for employees who can work in a team well with good communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children, in conjunction with other staff.

To assist in the provision of an attractive and stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays, indoors and out, relevant to the ages and needs of the children, which encourage independence, self motivation and an eagerness to learn.

To keep a record of achievements of key children, for parents / carers.

. To ensure that the Nursery's procedures on child protection are adhered to.

. To uphold standards within the Nursery by adhering to all policies and procedures.

. To respect the confidentiality of information received.

. To develop your role within the team especially as a key worker.

To liaise and facilitate close partnership working with parents, other family members and staff to help ensure that the particular needs of children are met and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given.

The successful applicant will be qualified level 3 or above, have a strong understanding of EYFS curriculum along with a genuine passion to work with children. They will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring nursery policies and procedures are observed at all times.

We are also offering training programs for candidates to Degree levels.

The role is required Monday - Friday; 45 hours per week

Shift patterns; 8am - 5pm, 8:30am -5:30pm or 9am - 6pm.
